Five-handed you can jam here, yeah.
If I was UTG 7- or 8-handed I might fold. In theory you could have some raise / folds off a short stack to balance your big hands, but this short I don't really like doing that.
There are charts you can consult for profitable shoving ranges. I'm looking at the one in
Modern Poker Theory and it actually says you can profitably shove A8o even UTG/8 up to 9BBs (their shove charts only go up to 10BB but it's profitable from the HJ at 10BB for sure). So even though I might fold, you probably shouldn't.
You can also run spots in HRC's Nash calculator, but it's really more useful for when pay jumps are involved.
