Hello to all the poker community,

I am a happy losing mtt poker player I have some basis of the theory. I would like to spot my leaks on poketracker but onestly I do not have a clue. Any advice on how to start and what to look for?

I play at abi 30 and onestly when I play a feel pretty comfortable since the majority of my opponents look amateur and seem pretty exploitables, but I have the feeling that I make a lot of mistakes above all in pre FT stage, loosing tons of chips in marginal spot.

I am also trying to have a really loose approach on the blinds based on pot odds but I don't know if is correct.

Other doubts regard the fact that the majority of regs in my field are really tight (I am not) and I don't know if my bb/100 on late position are good or should be better.

Furthermore I feel really exploitable vs reg on the blinds when I min raise with short stack on LP and they 3bet push, giving that in these cases I would call with a really little part of my opening range.

Any advice would be super appreciated. Here my stats. Thank you!!!

Honestly I think you should forget about the stats and focus on learning the fundamentals. Do you watch strategy videos or read any strat books?

Its hard because the sample size is small and actually you are not showing the right stats. Will like to see RFI per position.
btn should be around 50
co 35
MP 23
EP 17
At this rate you will be loosing (or already) a lot of money. Consider to lower your ABI a lot. You are burning money atm.
You can find a lot of good material around that will definitely be good for you. You probably have lost a few hundreds already so I will really suggest to invest a little bit in study material.
When I came back to poker I bought a subscription to pokercoaching, watched the MTT masterclass in a month or two. I can also recommand BBZ bundles. I bought apestyles one.
I can also recommand this coach https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...ified-1799744/. He coach me and my bb/100 hands really improved.
(i'm not affiliate with any of the thing I talked about, lol. Just really good stuffs)

Would be better to see some more specific stats. RFI per position, cbets in different situations, BB vs SB play, SB vs BB play etc. 30k hands is enough to find a lot of leaks, if you are not a very good player, but it needs more stats. From this it just seems like you don't 3bet enough? I am not really used to default stats in PT4.

Like MTT Database said your 3bet preflop is too low. When you 3bet you have monster.
Its a little bit wierd for me your cbet flop EP is lower then your MP one.

This is based on personal taste and learning preferences, but here is what I did that helped my game immensely:

1) Jonathan Little has a lot of free strategy content available on YouTube. Some of it he does himself, and some he partners with other pros. But there's a lot of high quality stuff there.

2) Read Play Optimal Poker 1 and 2 by Andrew Brokos. Those books will really open your eyes.

3) Strategy podcasts seem to be disappearing but if you go back a few years there are literally hundreds of hours of great strat content. I'd recommend Thinking Poker Podcast, Tournament Poker Edge, Rec Poker, and even Postflop Poker (they stopped making episodes before covid I think).

Chasing stats in PT is pointless if you don't understand the theory behind those stats.

Thank you again Arnakkm I'll try to figure out how to improve these 2 points. Lower cbet in ep seems strange to my as well... furthermore i don't know if generally my cbet% are way too high

If you liked the free contain of Jonathan Little I would go watch MTT masterclass, the 30 days challenge MTT and the new advanced MTT course of pokercoaching.com. Its own by him (but you probably already know)

Actually, that's not unusual at all because you're more likely to be out of position when raising in EP, and you should CB less frequently when OOP.

Yeah but beings OOP in early position is not "has bad" but he open a little bit too much so its may not be that bad. This is why we hire peoples for database analyse

Cbets by position are not that relevant. You should be cbetting more often from earlier positions and thats something I regularly check for my clients, but the most important thing is who are you cbetting against. BB, SB or IP flattor. That changes frequencies much more. For example cbetting too often OOP or playing a very similar strategy (including sizings) when facing BB or SB are pretty common leaks people have.

Vpip is a bit higher than average, mostly due to being more aggressive than the field opening from sb and btn which is good

you may be winning some EV with your pf strategy

otherwise run-of-the-mill, more or less average compared to the field--you probably lose some fraction of the rake say 0% to -5% roi, which means youre doing better than a significant segemt of your competition

Thank you guys! You are making me reflect on a lot of important points that I should analyse better.

Thank you also to @EggsMcBluffin. Honestly I feel pretty confident about my rfi opening ranges. What I think I am totally missing, with a lot of -EV decisions, are my call (too high) and 3bet (too low) ranges, that bring me to play a lot of marginal and -EV out of positions spots
