Second hand of a $5.50 turbo. No info on villain.

PokerStars - 15/30 Ante 4 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 99.87 BB
Hero (BTN): 99.37 BB
SB: 98.87 BB
BB: 102.43 BB
UTG: 100 BB
UTG+1: 99.87 BB
MP: 99.87 BB
MP+1: 99.87 BB
MP+2: 99.87 BB

9 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.7 BB) Hero has A T

fold, fold, fold, fold, MP+2 raises to 2 BB, fold, Hero raises to 6 BB, fold, fold, MP+2 calls 4 BB

Flop: (14.7 BB, 2 players) 8 4 T
MP+2 checks, Hero bets 8.1 BB, MP+2 raises to 20 BB, Hero ???

I have to think QQ-AA 4b pre, though he could be getting trappy with them. I block top set but 88/44 definitely in his range. And I block the NFD. Is this a clear call and see what the turn brings?

Flat pre? I don't really want to play AT multiway if either/both of the blinds decide to come along.

I know smaller bets are solver-approved but I've been playing around with larger bets of late. Going back to the good old days of poker.

$5 turbo, I'm just jammin all in .

We flop top pair in a 3bet pot.

I'd probably be alittle more scared of a minR on the flop.

Poker really is impossible in many ways.

Certain players your probably good, others your not.
Assuming we have no history, we can't really know what this guy is thinking.

So I'm just JAMMIN.

Piling 100bb deep with top pair, blocking the NFD doesn't seem ideal.

It's a 3bet pot tho and you have Ad so smaller is fine since you're not needing to price stuff out.

Good point. The Ad also gives me more reason to avoid getting x/r off my equity.

You'd want to go bigger if you had planned to empty the clip on flush runouts but you have too much showdown value right now to do that also.
