villain has been relatively quiet did a quick OPR and he is up 36K the last 120 days

id been playing extremely tight running at 8/6 over 50 hands
villain had been playing 20/12 over 23 hands

snapcall or snap fold?

Wow, that's sick. I'm trying to find a reason/justfication to call but I'm just not finding it. I don't think someone who's won 36K over 120 days (obv he's v. good) is going to just shove like this with less than TT. I think at best you're against like AQ or AK and I don't know that flipping with what's still a healthy stack (27BBs w/ a fold) is so good.

I'd just lay it down, unless you were feeling awfully adventurous.

In this situation I see AA/KK so often it's ridiculous just since his bet is still 98 bb's effective with the bb in the hand. I muck it as you still have tons of play in front of you and 1/10th of your stack isn't really anything at this point.

I don't think it's a snap anything. I mean it's AK or better, but I think it's AK a lot. I have seen bigger pairs do this as well (and was pretty shocked that they played them this way.) Like if you run full credit for AK and half credit for QQ+ it ends up being just slightly under the 44% equity you need (like 41-42.) Factor in some small chance that it could be like a weird AQ, or 99-TT, and it's pretty much a toss-up. It's the end of the first hour and I don't have many chips, I'd probably end up calling unless I felt really good or the table was great or something.
