i made a thread in the deuces cracked fourm a few months ago that mispelling it ducescracked.com was directing me to fulltilts home page

some guy did some research in the following thread and found it was some affilite trying to put a cookie in you system and not actually fulltilts doing

Just wondering, how do you know it's actually FTP and not a random squatter? When you register a domain on the internet, can't you basically put any name/company?

They are registered with SafeNames. Conveniently enough, the whois service on SafeNames is down, so you can't look up the other names for the most part.

However, http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d...epoker&tld=com

= a SafeNames domain.

Coincidence that all of the domains I listed are registered at SafeNames? I don't think so.

so are you searching through domains that are reg'd w/ safenames? (if so, is that easy/free?) or are you looking through some awesome list of FTP domains you got ahold of.

yes, i feel like ive accomplished something that full tilt feels the need to use my name to get ppl to their site (without paying me no less). No wounder no site offered to sign me, they can just use me for advertising for free (but if you do wanna sign me then all forgiven <3)

But i cant complain, today i bought up a bunch of websites that this kid who stalks my roomates gf was gonna use for himself.
