I'm in Montreal and wanted to transfer an extra seat to a friend who hasn't arrived in Montreal yet. They wouldn't allow me to transfer the seat at playground poker unless both people are present.

I've won 2 seats on FT and would like to know how to go about using them for day 1b and 1c. If I survive Day1b will I get cash instead of the unused ticket or will I have to sell it on Day1c? Could a rep please walk me through what I need to do.

I'm flying in on Friday and hoping to play the 2 sats left for the ME. I arrive at about 4:30 and the sat starts at 7 I believe. Will I have enough time to register or do the seats fill up pretty fast?

It's hard to say how busy the satellite will be on Friday considering that Day 1a will already be running at that time, but so far every event has had solid attendance (or better - Event 1 was record-setting here at Playground) so I would do my best to get to the club as soon as possible after arriving. That said, I'm pretty sure if you can get to the club by 6:30 you should be OK and it's possible that if you arrive for 7:30 (when it starts) you'll be OK.

We had about 359 runners in the satellite for Thursday Sept 26th, (including rebuys). Big room - they didn't seem to have any problems accommodating. Started at 7:30pm - $115 including the $5.00 dealer add-on (10K staring chips +3K for dealer add-on).

Two more evening satellites before day 1C on Sunday, (also running sit & goes - on demand).

Well run!

Great room for cash games, (& tournaments)....they really look after you.

You'll love it! Rumoured big names coming in for the event, but we'll see...

I'll inquire how to transfer seats tomorrow & let you know what I find out. I would be interested if possible.

Yeah I played the satellite on Friday and won a seat for day 1b. VERY soft. There was 100 players and 28 re-entries so 11 got a seat and 12 got $800. I was running bad at the beginning but then during a break I saw Gus Hansen playing in the main. All of a sudden I started running good and playing good. Thanks Gus

Good job 'Rookie', (which I don't believe)! I was in the same satillite. Wish 39 was my age, not where I got knocked out. At a critical part of the event, I had AJ suited facing A7 suited - flopped a Jack only to split the pot to a straight. The same gal went on to win a seat. Had AA for another big pot - only to be up against AA to split the pot again.

Vanessa Rousso was my incentive. She was looking great!

With the tournament being a bit of a turbo you're going to get that type of play, (double up or go home mentality). The main event should be different, as you'll have plenty of chips in play.

Regarding transferring satillite entries won on Fulltilt:

I inquired yesterday at the poker room and the Fulltilt rep said you couldn't transfer satellite entries from online. If you had a direct buyin, that could be transferred.

It doesn't make sense, as people I hear are transferring live satellite entries at the venue, but I'm still trying to track someone down and see if that's actually true.

Kind of sucks!

Back to the 7:30 satillite tonight. They are now limiting the number to 100 - since the main event is running and tieing up tables and dealers. Great venue - probably buy in if I miss again tonight.

Cash games are pretty soft, so maybe I can win enough for my entry. Each day is being capped at 500 entires, with alternates.

Good luck to all!

Played today with no luck but will try tomorrow again. The Playgroud is a top notch venue and I hope more tourney series come here. Really impressed overall.
