Day 2 of 2, already in the money, 40 players left.
5/10/10k level.

Utg opens to 25k. She is an old white lady who has 3! Few times and showed QQ once. Seems pretty much your standard recreational player. She has about 450k.

I have 250k in SB and I call with JTcc. BB folds

Flop(70k pot): K54ccd
I check and she bets 40k. With the bet on the bigger side I don’t think raising here is prudent. She could still be wide here. I elect to call.

Turn(150k) 6x
I check again. She now bets 60k. The small bet makes me think she is weak. I don’t necessarily raise all my sets or two pairs on the flop. So I still have some of them, I could have 56s, 87s. I shove for my 185k. I could put her Kx in tough spots. Not sure if she will fold her AA. Is this shove okay? Or still too small at this stage? Should I shove flop?

I think shoving flop is better bc of equity but yea this is gross but I think you can call turn if you think she will give you a full double on river if you open rip clubs. Based on player profile, I’m kinda Fine calling flop and consider shut down on turn if sizing is proper by her. This turn idk I might just call hoping she’s a nit that will pay off river shove. I’m totally fine folding turn though. Normally I would say x rip flop but against an old lady utg- her range is super tight and who knows if she calls qq or jj here?

This is wrong but I wouldn’t be anti 3! Fold this hand if the opener is a super aggro with a big stack but doesn’t match player profile. Call is better obviously but wouldn’t mind 3! At a low freq to like 80-90k and just sigh fold when they 4!. Would do this only against certain player types that may be going for it and opening very wide where they might fold hands such as KQo or a-10 to a 3!. Player stated- I would exploit call and just see a flop and hope we bink.

As played idk turn shove is going to get called a lot and correctly when she has you smashed. Most recs aren’t betting flop and turn without a hand. I’m also fine with not shoving flop here bc it’s a spew kinda when she calls and has us somewhat crushed where we need a club. I’m fine folding turn. I’m fine calling turn if we think player will give us the whole stack on river. I hate flop shove here bc player profile you stated isn’t cbetting wide and correct enough to make it good. Villian is never folding AA to a flop shove or should she bc the spr is so damn low and an overpair is so good when stacks are shallow in the money.

She has to fold qq and jj and not have a lot of Kx which seems unlikely to make a turn jam good. I think a turn jam is high variance- would rather call and have her hero call when we club the river. Folding turn is even fine bc our stack is in shambles if we don’t bink club on river and we don’t have position where we can rip if she checks river. Think you have to open jam river sometimes if you are going to call turn even as a bluff and villian is going to be opening super tight utg in the money most likely.
