Did they remove turbos? Was on today and didn't notice any from when I was on. Anything between $5-55?

Hey guys,

There have been some changes today and there will be more moving forward until March 5th. There will be LESS tournaments than before but the overall guarantees will be alot MORE. Every hour of the day will be improved quality, better structures everywhere, bigger guarantees everywhere, a proper spread of PSKO vs Normal at all times of the day.

Some initial changes

We have a 3pm (uk) $55 with $10k guarantee with long clocks (16 min) as a marathon style tournament, this tournament will have its guarantee increased a lot on both weekdays and Sundays if it receives initial support.

We have a 9pm (uk) $55 $10K guarantee 8pm clock that timeslot and clock performed amazing during powerfest so we will grow it big now.

We have moved the 9pm Uppercut Turbo to 10pm and will be 6max and 6 minutes

We have made the PKO turbo at 11pm 6max and 6 minutes

We have made the 9pm $215 8 minute clock

Our lobby will become more logical, special tournaments where appropriate will be bigger and bolder. The overall MTT offering will be attractive and appealing for recreational players.

We will continue to make these small changes for the next couple of weeks so people get used to the buy ins, times of tournaments and then from March 5th we will have supersized guarantees across the board from 2am- 11pm.

The thing i liked the most in PP was that turbos were 8min instead of stars 5min (rain)

wtf is going on all time, every month? people play, people get used to one, and you just palm them another.

just an opportunity to play normally. add some innovations, if necessary and see. clean always have time. sick of those endless monthly changes!!

Just to add, while big fields, big gtd's are good for rec's, regs, the site etc, one of the reasons I always liked party the most was there was always lots of smaller fields trny's aside from the daily flagships, and you could ft mtt's more frequently and easier to navigate a smaller field. Rather then on stars where every MTT is 1k plus runners, and is Harder to make super deep runs and is higher variance.

Schedule altered, starting chip stacks altered (is 100k really necessary?!), structures altered AGAIN!!!! Would it be possible to just get some consistency. Everything was great as was before! Couple of requests for minor changes doesn't mean EVERYTHING needs to be changed AGAIN!

Agree with those saying there are now too few mtts. It's a good balance to have some smaller-sized mtts - cannibalizing isn't as bad as its made out to be. Not all mtts have to be a 1000+ player donkament. With more modest fields one can realistically hope to make a few FTs (fun!), reduce variance etc.

Couple things I noticed.

Don't think the whole 100k stacks are necessary. They felt right for powerfest, as it was something special, but I think it's wayyyy overkill for every mtt. I think 30k was a perfect start stack.

Also noticed there are a couple 6-max games. THANK YOU!!! Finally! Contender and counterpunch mini turbos. While this is fantastic. I think your being too modest with their grt's. they could both easily be dbl or more, maybe let them play out a little and adjust in the near future?

+1 to adding marathon games at 3pm uk. However, I think that $3.3 2-3k will be more attractive than $2.2 1k. Single daily $3.3 will not harm you in any way.

Since you now have two times less low/micro mtts ($1-$11) and almost everything is deepstack/regular speed I would like to suggest to add hourly micro/low stakes turbo at :30 during peak hours. By adding hourly turbo game you will give options to those who cannot afford to play long sessions. Those who can play long sessions might also want to give a shot to some turbos (if they need to fill screen). I don't think that hourly turbo game will cannibalize your regspeed/deepstack games.

For instance, at 2pm and 3pm uk you have $2.2 and $11 games. I think you could easily add $5.5 1k turbo (6 min lvl) at 2:30pm uk and $1.1 $500 turbo at 3:30pm uk.
At 4pm and 5pm you have $1.1 and $5.5 games. I think you could add $11 turbo at 4:30 uk and $2 turbo at 5:30 uk. At 6:30uk you could have another $5.5 1k turbo etc.

By adding single hourly turbo your micro/low schedule will look more or less complete.

Stacks - All stacks will be the same from new schedule on March 5th

Rebuys - All tournaments on the site with v v v few exceptions will be max 1 reentry

6 Max - We are determined to add more 6max games to the site, they are fun.

6mins vs 8 mins - 6mins with 6max is essentially deeper than 8 mins with 8 max, you play a lot more hands so its not "more turboy"

Software - Very likely will be before March 5th, but don't want to promise anything, on March 5th there will 99.999% be the new software

Turbos - The plan is to add turbos to the schedule at 0:30 or 0:15 or 0:45 once the new schedule is live

Guarantees - There was an increase in guarantees last night, everything did great and today there will be more guarantees increased, this will continue to be the strategy to make tournaments as successful as possible and maximise their potential with no cannabalization next to them tournaments can really grow big now.

10pm turbos increae
$22 - $5k
$5.50 - $2k
$1.1 - $400

11pm PSKO turbo increase

$22- $5k
$5.50 $2k
$5.50 $400

Bolding of names etc -

The plan is to have three versions of bold:
Red For PSKOs which will be fully rebranded
Blue For bigger daily tournaments like 3pm Early Grind or daily majors etc
Powerfest Gold For specials like Wednesday 6max, Monday Mayhem or whatever they may be.

Right now there's just a transitioning phase of "pre new schedule" going on making sure that by March 5th everything is absolutely smashed. I may be biased, but I believe that it will be the most attractive and logical tournament schedule around and mostly because we deleted every single tournament we had and started from scratch.

Great idea to add turbos at an Inbetween time :15, :30, :45. Like this idea a lot. You said your going to increase the 10 pm turbos? I'm not on whatever time zone that is. Are you referring to the 6-max turbos? I played the contender and noticed it smashed the gtd by almost 2.5x! Making the contender turbo 6-max a $5k would be perfect.

there was a allways good running 750gtd 1,10 buy in rebuyaddon at 18.00 german time...they could add 2,2 buy in rebuy/addon..maybe 1,5k gtd for the beginn...

i think the same. -and you should (not only my thinking gtd!) make such mtts 9handed...I TELL YOU WHY: 8max is good Thing for faster mtts...2-3min 5-6min or 8min.
for longer games 9handed is much more Logical...and sorry sir but i think its not important what YOU think is good/outdated etc...important is what the Players want -and GET at OTHER sites...if you want be the nr1. (or nr 2 or nr 3 or 4....!)

i speak with a few Players and how different we all are-all say the same about 8max/9handed-8max faster games-9handed slow games.! GTD

Why someine would prefer 9h over 8h? Full ring is much more fun 8h than boring 9h where every nit is folding around. At least in 8h you are forced to play some more hands
