me and villain have quite a lot of history at this table, and he's basically **** on me every time we're been involved in a pot (if this is one of you guys, hud)

he's been really aggressive, and prob views me as bluffy/spazzy/likes to make moves.

i 3b pre IP, he 4b and i folded.

he's running 22/19/3.00 fwiw. no reads on limper but it's the DD and he limped the button.

as played and given your description of the villain i would def value bet the turn here

Given the villain's aggression and his limp\call pre, you're ahead of his range. I estimate, using Flopzilla, villain has a flush about 8% of the time. Bet for value, expecting the villain to fold most of the time.

seems like a 5bet jam spot to me ainec. And I wouldn't c/r these flops vs that guy. 469hh-type are better.

also i can't believe you're so adamant about that hand when you don't know the stacks/sizing/board texture etc, and i never said it was a c/r.

I am of the opinion that if you bet 7500 on the turn you are shoving 27K into 28K on the river.

If he's been really aggressive, I'm a little worried about the turn check when the spade hits. Coupled with his view of you as "bluffy/spazzy/likes to make moves", he could c/r here with our without a hand and really put you in a tough spot.

Given those dynamics, I'm checking the turn rather than value betting. I don't want to be bet off this hand, and I'm making a thin value bet on the river as long as it is not a spade. If he bets first on a non-spade river, I'm calling up to a little over 1/2 pot. If four spades on board, I'm out to a bet (unless its the A, of course).

Against this player, I can't fathom doing anything besides bet/calling and jamming safe rivers.

You're beating more of this player's hands than others, but the turn check sends up a flare. If he's as aggro as described, this just smells like he made his hand. Without a boat, I'm pot controlling as much as possible here, not jamming a river bet.
