What's your opinion about brazilians and russians?
Cheers mate, I think the good and bad player thing is over rated people play good or bad from all round the world and you can't go just putting it all on where someone lives.
I do love russians tho.

Well id like to think of this is a case of where a whole stable went above what was expected and where we looked to really try to help turn a young kids life around.
Most of you might remember just how bad a poster lolftsmbn was and even worse of a player. I was asked by lostostrich to give the kid a chance, he felt that he wasnt going to head down the best path and that my social worker skills could help improve him as not just a poker player but a person.
When he first joined people thought it (and he) was a joke, there was bad mouthing and a bit of disrespect being shown and I was not going to stand for that. My rule is that no matter what the stake was we are all the same. After this Rhys (lolftsbmn) started to really step up in the group it was like having a little cheer squad.
When he made his first deep run in a micro mtt we had half the stable watching and hoping he would win the $300-400 first prize that was on offer. It was amazing to see guys like Rowniwn stop and take notice with this kid. Marc was my right hand man and he like I grew to love rhys and really notice how nice of a kid he was.
The one big problem we had was that I didnt have much time for coaching at this point so the guys really stepped up, Fintan Hand, Abe, Rowniwn, Acealices, Worst_Nuts and carpiediem really stepped up to give the guy a hand but the real helper was Aggro Santos.
Aggro Santos had himself started at the micros with me and was someone who I grew close to as I moved him up the ranks and to see Scott take such effort out of his own time to help somebody free of charge and for no personal gain was amazing.
Im really proud of Scott for what he did and what he has personally gone to archive in poker but I know a huge highlight was seeing Rhys ship a turbo mtt for 2kish.
I have done a fair few bad things in my days before my staking days but when I see the differences I have been able to make in guys like m1ghtyducks and Rhys and it makes me proud of what i did in this game. I didn't just see this as a chance to make money I also liked to take a few projects on and do my all to help where I can.
Its guy's like those that keep me clinging to hope that I might still have some passion for this game
