Any stats on villain? This seems like the nuts or air and you block AK. I feel like it’s a call simply due to the fact that their suites combos are much more likely to be non hearts, but it would have been better to show some aggression earlier in the hand given how many more suited combos we have vs EP RFI range. Check raise small on flop, lead turn or River, etc.

I personally like a jam all in on the river in these spots when your oop, with a strong but still vulnerable hand, once you check, you open the door for your opponent to bluff you off the hand. If your beat, your beat, but you can still be called by non believers with AK with the Ace of hearts.

Something similar happened to me, where I was IP with trip 9's on the flop and on the river I value bet my hand, and my opponent shoved all in, I was forced to fold based on the sheer strength he was showing, and cause I only had 9-10, if I just shoved all in, he could of very well folded, or called me with a worse hand possibly.

Hmm, not many better Kx in his range and the KhQh limit his flush combos too. The question is how many single hearts does he have here. AhJx, AhTx, AxJh, AxTh...he won't be raising too many unsuited Broadways from utg though.

I'm not folding - there's a lot of single heart hands he can barrel with - many more than his value hands he bets here(flushes, sets,KQ). I would also think with his value hands he'd want to check the river as if he doesn't have a heart draw you probably have a lot of heart draws that could bluff.

How many single heart hands does he raise from EP when the Kh and Qh are on the board?

Most Ah,some Jh. What is there maybe 20ish combos of better value hands here? We don't need many bluff combos to make a call.

Most Ah? Aside from AJ/AT, do you really think he's raising unsuited Ax from EP off an 80bb stack? I don't.

Maybe, maybe not. It really doesn't matter as you don't need many AhX to profitably call.

His opening range is strong, he's bet three streets, you're thinking about calling an overbet for your tournament life. You don't have any read on him, and you don't have a heart. So, fold IMO.

Of course it matters. Villain is shoving 1.5x pot and we face a call for our tourney life. We kind of need to know whether villain can have 4 bluffs or 8 or whatever.
