Blinds are 800/1600 ante 200. Average chips are 20000. 19 players remainm top 9 get paid with top two getting most of the prize pool and 3-9 being more or less mincashes.

I was just moved to the table so no reads. This is a live 50+15 buyin with 50 rebuy/addon live daily tournament.

MP raises 3200, lojack calls, I call BB with A8s. I have 16000 behind, they both cover. Is this a fold pre? It seems like players rarely open raise/fold in these live tournaments, so I don't think 3bet is a good idea.

I check, MP check, LJ bets 8000. Hero?

Push or fold pre. TO make the call with a medium ace, oop and having 10bb it is spewy, otf you get the ace and you don't know what to do.

Jam or fold pre. Get in the of not playing a lot of postflop poker on such a short stack - especially oop.

Defending is completely fine. Flatting is wayyyyy better then folding so your decision is just whether to jam or peel (depends on villains).

Jam the flop over the Cbet.
