Preflop
Standard open.

Flop
I am not a big fan of this C-bet out of position. He is never folding a better hand, and he is rarely calling with worse, and certainly not if you continue betting the later streets. So this bet dont accomplish much in my opinion, and I would rather check and hope, he check back. If he bet, you probably need to defend at least one street, but I think, this is better than betting yourself, because you allow him to have a bluffing range.

Turn
Now I really dont see any reason to bet. He is still not folding a better hand, and now he is never calling with worse. Yes you picked up a draw, but when you have a combination of a draw and a made hand, the made hand is more important than the draw. What the draw means, is, that now you can easily check-call, whereas without the draw it would now be a check-fold.

River
You made a set, but now there is a 1-liner to a straight and 3 to a flush as well. This is a really gross spot. He is giving you better than 3:1, but he can definitely have a lot of hands, that beat you, so I dont know, if you are good 1 in 4 times here. Its a bluff catching situation, so one of the questions to ask is of course "what are his bluffs". And unless he is turning some kind of made hand like top pair into a bluff, there are none. So for me I probably vomit and fold.

Fundiver gave some good feedback there, notably saying "i don't see any reason to bet", i want to expand on this a bit- in general, when you're betting at low and midstakes, your bets should almost always fall into one of 2 camps : some form of value or some form of bluff/semi-bluff.

So when we barrel this turn, what are we making fold that is better than us? Well likely nothing at this point, however, if coupled with a river bet, perhaps you could actually bluff some hands off (but this hand feels a bit TOO good for that) im with FD check/calling here makes a bit more sense.

To the river, this is one of the most classic spots I see students get into- the check/call VS. the bet/fold on the river. I think your hand is just way too good to check/fold here and bet/folding would be absurd, so it really comes down to one of these 2 options! I typically lean more towards bet/fold when I am uncertain and/or I believe them to have second best hands often. I then lean towards check/call in spots where the villain might have some bluffs (notably when draws miss). I don't really see any potential bluffs for villain here, therefore I prefer bet/folding the river (probably around 35-40% at most hoping to get thin value from a top pair)

I actually have a write-up for my students specifically on this topic (when to check/call versus when to bet fold) I'd be willing to share it with ya if you like, just shoot me a DM. Hope this helps!

Quick edit -

" I think your hand is just way too good to check/fold here and bet/folding would be absurd.." I meant bet/CALLING would be absurd. Hope that clears up any confusion! In general, it's very rare we bet/call rivers anyways (as when someone raises over our river bet they tend to be nutted at these stakes) there are often times I bet with a small flush/trips+ on the river and am still folding to a re-raise from villain, therefore, it's insanely rare we are bet/calling river and thus our most common split decision will be- check/calling VERSUS bet/folding.
