Go for it!
Are you in the money? Some day 2's are always in the money (the Venetian is like that now) and some it depends on if there is a Day 3 or not. If not it should be just a few hours until the money.
My guess is that 55 blinds is above average but correct me if I am wrong.
First in preflop don't limp. Your raise size should be between min raise and 2.5x. But whatever you choose at your stack size be consistent. Don't let others figure out what you might have based on your pre-flop raise size. At some point I just go to 2.1x because there are other stacks that are smallish and I prefer being able to raise on a few more hands than if I go with 2.5x and fail.
When I am short stacked (if that happens) below 15 bb's I just jam. It eliminates post flop play OOP and also I am an older white man so they think I have a very strong hand. Also when < 25 bb's I typically 3-bet jam when I 3-bet. Also in the SB I may jam with <20 blinds or limp/jam a bit. I hate playing OOP vs a BB who has called a raise. But when I do raise its to about 4x in the SB.
My hope in a multi-day tournament is to go deep so I take chances on the bubble. But if you are in the money just know that a lot of people will be jamming because they want to go deep.
