Hey, have 2 hands I want to just post to see if liked? From $400 ultra stack today at Venetian in the money

H1- ok we have 500kish? At 12k bb level. Hj opens to 27k. Sb flats. Hj has like 250k maybe? I have 46cc in bb. I elect to 3! To 91k. Both villians find folds . I think hj just seemed like he could be light but a tighter player and I felt sb call was super super weak. Hj may have had 200-250k though so makes me question the squeeze. I feel if he Jams like 200k I have to lol fold. I felt it was a good spot in game due to sb prolly folding a ton of the time + hj can have a portion of a raise/ fold range from lp.

H2- this hand is prolly questionable but want to make sure I’m ok. I have 390k at 15k bb level. I open 30k with 9-10hh from mp. Button makes it 75k in bigger stack or same size. He’s an aggro Russian older guy that has won a few recent mtts at Venetian. He’s good I would say but not sure bc I haven’t played against him. I call bc I feel the hand is a call even though we may be up against a super nutted range. Flop is 9-7-3 rainbow. I check and he cuts 60k. I elect to rip due to spr and feel if we get to this flop, might as well rip with top pair. He calls. We lose to 10-10. Do you hate? I feel calling and folding turn is kinda lols. Thoughts? I feel if we get to this flop with this exact hand in a 3! Pot, we gotta go. Maybe it’s a call and fold on further betting? Idk

H1 looks fine as an occasional play, but you'd much rather have a hand that blocks hj's 4! range and sb's call-call or call-jam range (A2-A5o, K2-K6s, Q2-Q6s), especially since a flat call with this combo prints. Depending on SB's stack you could also 3bet shove pretty wide here, but 46s still prefers to flat.

H2 as long as you don't fold flop you'll be doing fine. You could jam to balance your straight draws that want to garner fold equity (56s, T8s, and JTs are your only real bluffs here, and they will x/c some of the time, especially with a backdoor fd). You could also call with the plan to call down most runouts, and fold the worst ones. Calling to fold on safe run-outs will be easy to exploit as this hand is quite far up your range.

H1: You know how I feel about this. Gapped SC are not in my 3 bet range because then I would be 3 betting bluffing too much (or at least more than I choose which is 50% of the time). Asjbaaaf's point is excellent IMO that if I was going to bluff in the BB against a HJ open I would prefer AXs/KXs hands because they block some of the best hands. However, if I hadn't 3-bet much or at all then it is whatever your read is. If you think the HJ will fold a lot then why not? Personally I prefer 64s as a BB call here to get to play a hand we can crush with especially if we get the right board (like one that has 235 in it where one of our opponents can have A4)

H2: Mostly you got screwed. I open with T9s. I call a 2.5x 3 bet with T9s. Against a tight player on the flop I wouldn't shove but you didn't say he was tight. There are a number of older (like 50+) aggro Czech players here in Prague that 3 bet in position with a very wide range. So the c/r shove wouldn't be out of the question for me. However I think my balance would be if I had a BDFD. Given we have a BDSD we would have 8 outs twice that way not 6.5 outs and I think that's the difference for me. And yes he has TT so we wouldn't have that many outs but its not very likely he has TT...

I have mixed feelings about having top pair which is a 9 on a flop and c/r shoving in this spot. I like it because there are so many cards on the turn that will help Russian guy bluff. And I like a call because it is a smallish cbet which would leave us with 17 bb's if we fold the turn. I guess it would come down to my read on the villain. Does he 3-bet wide? Does he typically bet flop and turn after his 3-bets?
