This hand was played on PartyPoker so I don't have a hand history.

This is a freeroll with 11 players left, 10 players get a $3,30 ticket. I'm the short stack with 2,3 BB UTG, two other players only have 3BB. One of the short stacks is to my direct left, the other one only just posted his SB (I had the other table open).

I don't remember the exact size of the ante but I will definitely be all-in in the SB if I fold now.

I pick up ATo.

I would obviously fold this as a default if one player would be all-in before me but this isn't the case unless somebody goes mental.

Is this still a mandatory fold? Do we have to fold any hand in the BB as well and just hope we don't bust from the SB? Just retaining 4 antes would obviously still be massive because other players could bust in the four hands that follow. I know however that my equity will drop massively once I fold my BB and playing my SB will be 100% luck. I would snap fold if I knew now I would have some antes left after going through the blinds.

I did read "Poker Satellite Strategy" by Dara O’Kearney and Barry Carter and started "Kill Everyone" recently but all I can remember from those is a spot where we KNOW that other players will be all-in before we are.
