What would you suggest your bankroll should be for the 6max DON sngs (turbo speed) on Bovada. Im currently at the 50$ level but a friend of mine was asking me what his BR should be before moving from the 20's to the 50's he hovering around 10% ROI on a good sample at the 20's. Do you think a 2k bankroll is enough? Or should i tell him 2500?

no rush with upmoves. 10%roi at the 20s already prints so its just matter of time when BR is ready for next..

i think almost always its better to be well overrolled than avg or under.

mindset will be better.

I guess ive never fooled around with variance calculators I just couldnt see someone with a 10%ROI in 20's going broke with 3000$ in the 50's Ive played both and the play isnt much different tbh. Maybe im wrong about this thats why I was asking. I moved up once i reached 2k and havent looked back.

well, BR might be 3k but it is NOT all for 50s obv.
BR falls to 2k then move back.

and variance, its actually a thing.
also one canno5 expect same ROI at double the stakes

I just used a variance calculator it said for a BR of 3k that his risk of ruin would probably be 2%. So i think thats a good risk.

The only difference that was really noticeable for me was 10's to 20's the rest stayed within 1-2 ROI. Maybe it wont be the same for others but 50's were just as soft as 20's for me.

150 buyins have very low risk of ruin given you're at least breaking even and unwilling to move down
