I think that there is still Late Registration, far away from ITM, i think that he had a bounty of about $23.
But the problem of calling is that a lot of flops will not be good for our hand, the only good flops will be with an 8. So i think that is a spot that is better to squeeze or fold, or am i missing something ?
I'm not worried about MP2 with a flat call. People will raise light to earn bounties so as long as MP1 isn't a nit I shove and am happy with it. You get a good bounty score (I guess you only get half of the $23 though right?) but you are also setting yourself up for a deep run by winning chips early to use against shorter stacks and bully people.
I think this is marginal in the early spots. Players hunt bounties very wide especially with big stacks. If we assume MP1 has a range of facecards and some Ax and decides to gamble u are not a huge favorite. I would fold. But I would snap shove JJ+ and consider TT strongly. well played.
