I don't think chuck or anyone else who has tried to help deserves all the hate. The project may have been mishandled a few times, but the problem doesn't lie with them. The problem is with the dirty players doing dirty things.

Basically when he's not having sex with babies or clubbing baby seals he buys slaves in India, chains them to a computer en let's them grind up stacks. Then when they're deep he takes over.

If there is Chuck's friends on the list, would he forward those too? If there is GB's friends on the list (whoever he is) would he post those names? Which is more likely, Chuck getting info about his friends, who ask for him not to publish their names, or cheaters knowing their names being on Chuck's list and making threats and possibly outing themselves at the same time?

Having an anonumous account outing some weak cases and leaving out the more stronger ones is also pretty weird imo.

After all this, the list has to be published in some way.

I think a prominent, respected poker player, who primarily plays live and does not back people for any significant portion of their income should take charge of this process. Someone who isn't that personally invested at all, and will out the information judiciously (not prematurely) but without prejudice of hurting people's feelings because of their lack of very close ties to internet poker. The three that immediately come to mind are Vanessa Selbst, Jonathan Little and Mike Sexton (primarily live players), in that order.
