I actually like this because we have the A (so we block a lot of flush draws that got there) and we look like we have a J because Villain checked the turn and we bet.

I do think there is a decent chance Villain has KK/QQ/AA

I find that if I am going to bluff the turn I have to bluff the river unless I have the draw that didn't get there and I block draws. Here we block draws but because BB 3-bet pre-flop it is unlikely they had a flush draw and more likely they have a pair.

Also, our betting the turn doesn't necessarily look like we had a flush draw. But it is possible. What our turn bet does look like is a setup to jam the river.

Preflop
Standard.

Flop
Also standard to float in position with overcards and backdoor draws. We also beat his bluffs with AQ high.

Turn
I am not quite sure, we need to bluff with this hand? We still beat bluffs, and we did not pick up any equity.

River
As played a clear jam. When he check-call turn, the bluffs are gone from his range, so we have no showdown value left and a good blocker. If I had to guess, I would put him on a hand like AK or 99-TT.

Nice hand, I think you played it perfectly.

I'd consider also checking turn and overbet jam the River, vs some Villains you get more folds using that line.

OTT also is good to know that having the A♣️ is probably better than this one because Villain is going to bluffcatch you more in theory if he has it because he blocks A♣️J♣️ that is one of your most common value hands in this line. Also with A♣️ you cant overbet jam a flush complete River so its better to just bluff OTT.
