you're 19bb effective, so flatting here is pretty bad unless you think your opponent is weak and you can outplay them post-flop. I'd much rather 3-bet this especially if you have a tight image.

Also there's 3 re-shove stacks , So it's rather unlikely that V is opening wide here , but if he's been playing aggressive and r/f a good amount of time , 3-betting this is fine rather then flat calling and playing OOP.

Agree (though I lean more towards folding as well). Plenty of times in the past I've made these flats because lol-we-have-such-a-playable-hand. But you really get yourself in some awkward spots post-flop because villains stack is too big to x-shove otf, but small enough that you end up having to call 3 barrels to an all in when there's likely going to be overcards by the river. It's prolly the worst stack depth imo that you can be making these flats pre, and puts you in a guessing game OOP as to whether you have the best hand or not.

    Fold > 3 bet > flat

Dislike 3 betting with these effective stacks in a $5 mtt

fold pre. as played, I dunno why we're folding the turn

A 20bb 15/13 player's two barreling range is likely capped here so that leaves one option - fold.

I'm curious as to your thought process ... can you explain more?

Fwiw if villain plays fit or fold post especially with his stack I think we can take a chance calling and hitting a favorable draw and or paired hand or a low board that we can likely steal from him post even though we are oop.

15/14 clearly understands aggression, our range when we call pre and c/c the flop is pretty heavily weighted towards 8s, p+gutterball type stuff, 22-77 so he's gonna (or should) barrel pretty often here, plus, a ton of rivers shut him down.
