$5 rebuy on Borgata.com

Final table just started, about 4 hands in. We're 8 handed. 500-1k blinds. I have 39k in the bb, villain has 88k on button. Folds to him and he makes it 4k. I have A10os. Debated shoving, but that seemed a bit much. A 3bet to 11k puts ~28% of my stack in. I put him on 55-99, KJ, KQ, maybe even a smaller A. Blinds going up in 2 mins to 600-1200 too. So id have ~31 bbs in 2 mins. Curious if a a shove was the right play? Also thought about flatting OOP then leading a good board texture.
I tanked and folded.

Dude 4x? You need a read if he's doing that with premos or If he's just an idiot. (Or both lol) - likely the later.

I would fold and wait for a better spot.

Ha, from playing on this site, the bigger the raise pre, the less they want a call. Outside off early pos openings. I had not played with him yet. He was the biggest stack at the table.

any stats for Villain?
Also depends on how you have been playing, if you been playing tight, your 3 b have a higher chance of getting through.

mostly fold and wait better spot vs all but the most aggro villains

we have a nice stack and we want to preserve it for better spots. 3b and getting flatted would put us in tough spot oop and if we get 4b shoved on we will have to fold.

No stats, only about 4 hands into FT. Had not played with him yet in tourney.
