I probably bet the turn with J either about 6,000 or a jam (I likely jam). But I get why you checked back. On spade river you get to see what villain does. And on a non-spade non-9 river you can bluff call.

Do you fold to that river as played?

The sizing was unusual - larger than I'd expect as a value bet, but smaller than a polarized bluff size. And I lose to all of his As/Ks.

I think I would fold on the river too. I do think there are bluffs here but I doubt they are bluffing with Tx and we are blocking a bunch of straight draws on the flop.

I don't think Villain is value betting anything other than Q high flush or better. I do think that Villain will call on the flop a lot with two overcards and a spade. Also with TX where X is a spade higher than a Q. I also think that Villain might have AXs/KXs and hit the flush on the turn.

The river sizing can be a bluff or a value bet. The reason it may have been this small is that they want you to call leaving you with like 12 blinds whereas if they had bet pot you would be more likely to fold.

This 3/4 river sizing is super value heavy from low stakes players, in both tournaments in cash games, from what I've seen.

Still, people take stabs. He may have nothing and figure you'll fold a T or overpair (which you did, even with a spade). If I'd seen this guy show any bluffs in the time I'd been playing with him, I would probably call. Otherwise I would fold.

I feel like the bet on flop was very small given the great texture for our exact hand.

Kind of feel like any over/s + fd on flop is raising a ton vs small sizing too. Maybe Tx ss plays it this way.

As played I’m bombing turn, no free card imho.

Appreciate the feedback and I think I agree that checking behind on the turn was a mistake. He likely would have 4b QQ-AA so a large portion of his range is going to be Broadway combos with the As/Ks/Qs.

He did show after I folded but I'll wait to see if there is any more input before revealing. In the meantime, feel free to guess villain's hand.
