Hi, first time posting here...
The guy was pretty tight and trapped a lot. Was the call on river +EV?

bet flop and re-evaluate on turn , otr i'd fold.

if you think v frequently bluffs at the pot then calling can be ev+ yes , it really depends on betting patterns and the hand ranges you give your opponent.

your ace high can be good here a good majority of the time, but if you're unsure where your at there's no harm in folding otr.

so are you b/c the flop then? we'd be getting about 3-1 on a call there if we bet like 15k. or do you just bet under 1/3 or smth?

You played it fine.

Guy is flatting from SB should have a pretty strong range and that's not really a flop he's folding much on. No reason to bet.

River is a fold.

Kinda awkward. I don't think this line is optimal (turns our hand face up, not a lot of cards to improve, allows us to get bluffed of the best hand a lot), but I'm not sure what else to do. B/calling seems ambitious given your read and b/folding doesn't seem right either b/c we prolly have to cbet >1/3 pot on this board to get credit for a strong hand and then we'll prolly be getting the right price to call the jam against a normal range that flats in SB and jams this flop.

Not sure what range SB flats pre.

I think.... You should prolly bet the turn. Kind of a merge spot to get value from draws and try and get folds out of small PP's.

Interesting spot.

If we didn't bet flop I don't think betting turn is going to do anything... we start with <20 bb ... if your read is correct I'm OK with it.

So... I must say he then showed an offsuit Ace. He may had AJ and slowplayed it or A rag and tried to steal the pot at the river, thanks for the reviews so far
