we are in Level 4 of a $60 dollar KO tourney (40/20 split). Effective stacks are ~10K Blinds 50/100 with a 12 chip Ante. Main V in the hand is a bit spewy getting involved roughly 40% of hands at a 9 handed table.

Hero (BB) ~11K 97
V(UTG) ~10K

V opens to 250, 3 MP callers, SB calls, we complete in the BB.

Pot (1262)

Flop J86

SB check, Hero Check, V bets 500, folds to SB who calls, Hero calls (thoughts on raise here v call?)

Turn (2762)

5

SB Checks, Hero Checks (donk out?), V bets 1250, SB calls, Hero 4K, V calls, SB folds

River (12262)

10

we have about 6500 ish left

Hero ? (bet fold? Jam? Check call it off?)

Make it bigger on the turn. Then the river decision becomes easy.

Preflop - easy defend given the odds.

Flop - I prefer calling as you did. Villain cbets vs so many players thus, I am expecting to see a hand that will continue vs a x/r.

Turn - my strategy is to check all my hands to the cbettor. Leading turn is not bad per se but hard to come up with a good overall strategy. I like your decision to x/r. In terms of sizing, I am not sure what the best one is. Jamming wouldn't be too crazy as the pot will be 5k and you have 10k behind. A lot of draws are possible. The SPR is a bit odd. I guess your sizing makes sense because you will have 50% pot left on the river.

River is an easy jam because you have a flush blocker, thus less likely villain has a flush. X/c might also be an option but I would go with the jam myself. Usually if you had started betting just keep going it.

Overall - nice hand.
