I probably fold especially holding the 6s, but I would have checked the turn which I think is best.

Multi way you want this to check down to showdown. This is exactly why you don't want to lead, getting raised is brutal and knocks you off your equity.

Not folding. Calling and folding to river aggression on A, Q, J or spades. Calling down on everything else. Having 6s is not super relevant since MP doesn't have much suited 6x anyways.
