Nash/SNG say they are both thin shoves. I'm not sure I want to risk so much variance for so few chips but with 6.5 BB can I really complain?

First one im always shoving. Second one depends on table-dynamics, but i tend to shove here. edit: i just see the small blind first hand, maybe its good to fold here if hes shoving/calling wide

I dont think you should be scared too much about variance. Either your play is +EV or not. Skipping those shoves will certainly not reduce your variance imo (bc the lower your winrate is, the higher is your variance obv) rather lead to even nastier spots in future hands.

Agree with the above, first always shoving, second usually. Also if blinds are about to go up, even more tending towards shoving. Gl sir

yeah both are easy shoves for me.

hand 1 we can't fold , so it's between shove , r/c or r/f , and you can make arguements for all.

R/C if we think we can induce from BTN/BB , R/F to BTN/BB if they are super nits playing like 5/3 , or shove because it's certainly +cEV and fun to jam the betting bar over.

hand 2 , we have a pair 6 handed. i would shove 10 big blinds there

i don't think either are thin at all tbh

oh crap i misread hand 1 as having like 12-13 bb and being in the co (damn bolded stacks)

we have 6 bb utg. yeah ez ship and discount above post.

that being said there is almost never an instance i fold A10 almost regardless of stack sizes in hand 1 being UTG
