Unless he is really tight we're deep enough to flat with position. I'm 3-betting against a LAG

hey hows it going? I recognize that playing name from another forum. welcome to 2+2.
With about 38.5 BB's, we have some options. Being in position I usually flat in this spot. If a LAGgy player raisers, I like to 3 bet this.

Calling is fine. Your stack is almost 40bbs which is nice. I would not get too overly involved with this hand though, as in if you Reraised and then were reraised, I would fold it.
If you call and one of the blinds comes over the top of you I would also fold when it gets back to us, even with position.
Many times it is better to just fold AQo in a raised pot early in a SNG. If it were suited I would be more inclined to be calling raises with it.
This is also a situation where it is nice to have a read on the raiser. versus tight player I would just flat in position and re-evaluate on the flop. Against a LAG I would raise it up and play it more aggressively.
I am sure lots of people on here will disagree with me when I say that folding is an acceptable option with this hand, but early in SNGs I like to avoid tough spots and this hand will give you plenty of them.

I think all 3 options are valid in this spot. I tend to fold as default.

It's L3, so you should have some type of read. Generally even looser players raise over a limper range is fairly tight so you can fold some of the time, but it's very read dependent.
Please read the FAQ. That would of helped in converting the hand and using a proper title.
Thanks & welcome to STTF.
