How do you guys play this?
Poker Stars $6.00+$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds + t25 - 4 players

BB: t1525 M = 3.81
Hero (CO): t3030 M = 7.58
BTN: t7185 M = 17.96

Pre Flop: (t400) Hero is CO with A

Hero raises to t500, BTN calls t500, 1 fold, BB raises to t1500 all in, Hero raises to t3005 all in, 1 fold

Flop: (t3700) 4

(2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: (t3700) 2

(2 players - 2 are all in)

River: (t3700) T

(2 players - 2 are all in)

man, on paper it looks like those simple overshoves that i always seem to miss. you guys just shove pre even with CL on btn and short stacks in blinds? makes our life easy and don't have to post these questions?

open shove. button has a mountain of chips and position on you. he's probably got a good idea of where you are, but you won't have a clue what he's up to. just shove and don't invite him to flat you and then take you off the hand post flop.

shove pre.

idk what you are trying to accomplish with your raise. every time I see people raise this amount pre with AK and they see a flop and get killed by something like JJ I just head desk.

was trying to avoid CL and get it in with the sb or bb... but obv a bad approach.
