Both of these hands illustrate a similar concept. I've got slight more than 10BB and a decent hand. shoving from UTG seems too aggressive, but folding seems way too weak. What should I do here? Is limping terrible? What about a standard raise?

I don't see anything wrong with shoving both these hands here, but I could be wrong..

I would shove hand 1 because the BB stack is going down. He have reached the less than 1k zone and hell probably call you with any ace, KJ even QJ. If he had like a 1.2k stack I wouldnt be pushing as I dont like pushing AJ in this situations.
AQ I push all day but its the bottom of my range here. AQ+ JJ+

The first one seems a bit close to me but I don't like raising much. Limping is out of the question. It would be table dependent for me but I'd tend to raise I think. I'm going to hate cbetting though.

The second one I tend to just shove. These monkeys call you with a lot worse, so I'm not too worried about having to go through the whole table. And if I raise, very tough to cbet because I'll be pretty short.

I fold 1st for sure. You want to be super nitty with your stack size.

2nd is a profitable push. Or raise it and call a push from the blinds.

i agree with above, in 1st you should fold and 2nd hand u probably have alot of hand ranges dominated so its just shove and hope for the best.

What you could do in hand 1 is raise but then you might be overplayed by lower pairs which might have folded if you shove.

So i would avoid hard situations and fold hand 1, since you have 10bbs, if you had like 5bbs it was a easy shove.

fold hand 1, were by no means desperate and like aj is generally behind if we get called, also this a regular sng right ? so we have more time to pick up a more profitable spot to gambooooooooooooooooool
hand 2 is a good push with the blinds about to hit us and we can pick up the 180 chips and maintain our stack
