I just got moved to this table in the tournament. I have not seen many showdowns yet. I do not have any significant reads on the players. The blinds are $200/400/40 w/ 12 minute levels. The rebuys and add on period has ended. 6 out of the 9 players at the table have stacks w/ at least ~25+ BB. There are a couple of shorter stacked players.
Hero is UTG+5 w/ 910o w/ ~42BB (17K). Everybody folds around to me, so I raise to 800. The BB w/ ~80+BB (40K) flats.
Flop (2160): 6c9c3s
BB bets 2,000. Hero ?
I elect to sigh fold here. The BB has been slightly aggressive in the time I have been at the table; however, him bluffing into this board w/ a pot sized bet seems highly risky, especially when I initiated the betting pre. I am trying to vary my play, so it does not look like I only play strong hands. Perhaps, I should have just folded pre, though, since I really should not be getting involved in a big hand w/ the big stack @ the table, no?
Now, theoretically, if I raise to 5,000 and V reraises, that will be a nasty situation where I will be forced to fold. If I flat and the turn comes 4s (blank), I have no idea where I stand in the hand. It is tough to put V on a range here b/c I do not have a significant read. All I know is that he has a large stack and has been playing slightly aggressive.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks,

Hero calls. There's no reason to raise, and if you plan to fold TP against donkbets from random player, fold pre.

Fold pre
You pretty much have it figured out in your post.
IT doesn't close a lot of action cause it's a drawing hand without relative strength.
without reads how do you know what the donk means?

Pre is ok. Just fold the flop vs potsized bet, because u don't have any reads. Your tpwk doesn't do that good against any reasonable range.
