we have to fold for ICM reasons because we're only a small fav, even if villain is pushing wide?

if you think villain is shoving hands like A2,K2,Q8,Q5s,J9,J8s or worse you can call

has SB been shoving a lot? This spot seems kinda read dependent but against an unknown I just dump...

i mean i'm pretty sure he's shoving at least 40%, i'm confident i'm ahead of his range...but is it that whole thing of the value of winning the pot not worth it compared to the equity lost when i lose the pot? since i'm almost always a 54/46 here or w/e

There is no answer we can give you without a read. It is a call against some villians and fold against others.

I look at my HUD here and make a decision based on that.

ok, so what % does he have to be pushing to make this a call? i sort of posted this because i was under the impression that even if villain was pushing ATC or close to that, this might still be an icm fold

I usually snap this. Even with tournament odds, a call vs a randoms SB shoving range with a csi of 3, which is pretty wide, will be profitable.
