$5+.50 FTP 18 player, 5 players left on bubble, hero is 4th out of 5. Blinds t300.

Pre-flop:
UTG (6,000) folds, C/O (2,800) folds, button (12,000) folds, SB (5,000) raises to 900, Hero (4,500) 44 ships it.

I know this has to be an "automatic" ship. But what are the merits of flatting and trying to use my position, not to mention the bubble factor.

not sure it's an autoship and I may fold here in an 18pp...close either way

I agree, its marginal as hell, for all i know he's trying to bully me with the 5th place guy getting close to the rail.

our stack is awkard cause it's almost to big to shove in a small field SNG where cashing is more important

I felt kind of sick for putting myself out there like that. So do I try to flat or just muck?

flatting is the worst option by far...I don't mind a shove depending on the table dynamic and reads on villan...

fold>shove>flat

first too are probably EV even...reads can sway me in marginal spots

ty, one of the downsides of multi-tabling, crappy reads at times.

when that's the case just fold...short handed you can find better spots as the aggressor

none, really, because if you don't flop a set you're folding to his flop lead. right?

ssnyc nailed it, as usual.
