OMG - you mean to tell me that even the best players in the forum don't see this as a killer poker hand???????

Wow! This is exactly the flop I'm hoping for when I raise with this hand - particularly against calling stations or re-stealers.

Mods is there a way to block posts from certain people? Unrealzeal: there have been many posts explaining why this isnt a "killer poker hand". For some reason you refuse to read or don't feel like making counter-arguments

Oh yeah your precious bubble plays. LOL. I don't have to worry about that - I cash >50%. One of the reasons is because I recognize the percentages for what they are. Maybe you should do the same and stop being so scared at the table.

Just trying to help. OP posted to get advice from good players and got it. If he wanted to post to justify his play in this hand, why bother posting.

I am not trying to brag or anything but I find it a little annoying myself when people cry to the teacher when they don't like my plays. This advice is from a winning player not some idiot.

You still haven't shown us why we should change our minds and be fistpump bet/calling here.

Great flop to check behind. We don't want to end up all in on the flop.. because we wouldn't be a large enough favorite against the range that will get it in with us, and anything else has bad enough equity against us that giving a free card doesn't really matter. Also it is unlikey to get blown off the hand on the turn by a calling station.

Because in order to make money in poker we need people to call when we have the best hand. If you had aces here, what would you do - check?

This hand is just about exactly the same % as a pair of aces over another pp, assuming we bet as much as will get called on the turn and we are not called on the river.

I believe that if you are not seeing this hand for it's worth, you are missing something on the first level of poker: direct and implied odds.

Direct odds: huge favorite over villains range
Implied odds: he calls when he is way behind especially on a board he doesn't recognize he's dominated on

If you are against someone who's calling on a tighter range you can check the turn, but there's no way I'm checking this flop. I want his money in there as quick as I can get it.

As far as this being the bubble, my personal opinion is that the bubble is the worst time to alter your fundamental poker strategy.

Solid. What's his range for crai and what's our equity vs it?

Unreal AA is not even close to AQdd here EVEN if we assume AQ is completely live AND getting it in ahead. In fact even if we ALWAYS have the best hand here AA is still significantly better overall to another pocket pair. Listen to what alot of accomplished players are saying, you do not WANT to get it in here.

yeah, I'm pretty sure you can do it by clicking on his username and "view public profile". Should be an option to ignore in there.
