Jam with 23BB? Why not just raise first? If V1 puts us all in we pretty much have to fold but hate it, V2 goes all in we have to call?

If we raise let's say 2.5x V1 raises then V2 shoves, easy fold, if V1 folds V2 shoves, easy call.

I donÂ’t think I like Jam here.

If we get called we are flipping at best and best case scenario we are stealing the blinds, which we might be able to do with a 2,5x open as well.

Yes SB can put us in a tough spot, but with stacks the way they are I think we can afford to take a line like the previous reply suggested.

Also open probably looks stronger than jam with the way things stack up and might get more folds from BB.

I would become excessively tight here. This is the exact scenario where I would rather see the small stack get crippled and blinded out rather than me win a big pot by risking it all against the big stack on a flip.

I assume a huge jump in pays here. It doesn't take all that many bb sb folds for the small stack to exit the tournament. Make your moves when heads up.

There should also be some implicit collusion to knock out the small stack first by you and the big stack.

I would raise to 2.1x here. I would likely fold to SB 3-bet though it would depend somewhat on the sizing (I would call a 2.5x or less 3-bet). I would call a BB jam.

Isn't 2.1x too small given BB's stack? I assume he can just call like 70% of his hands and then donk jam or c/r the flop and make us cry on a lot of boards. Though perhaps because we are doing well vs. all of the low/middling boards that he would be aggressive on, we can just raise to 2x or 2.1x and be fine calling off? Idk I still feel like 2.5-2.8x is a bit better here.

With <40 bb's effective stack I typically min raise at 2.1x. Between 40 bb's and 80 bb's I go to 2.5x or so and up to 120 bb's I'm more or less at 2.75x. Above that I'm at 3x. I find I have more flexibility post flop that way.

The BB can do a Stop n Go by calling with 10 bb's but they could do it with a 2.5 bb raise as well. If BB calls there would be close to 6 bb's in the pot and an 8 bb jam would be callable if we there are undercards or we suspect a bluff or semi bluff. If the flop has 3 overcards that don't help us in terms of straight draws it would basically be an easy fold if BB jams. But if a flop like J52 comes its an easy call (because with a J why wouldn't BB let us cbet and then c/r jam?). Flops like J85 get more complicated but I think the more draws that are out there the more likely I am to call.

Raise range tight here so we go bigger, would raise to 2.5x ( also gives bb harder time defending )
If sb jams just have to sigh fold but still think it's better than open jam , your bounty is too attractive for sb to hunt

limp and snap BB off if he jam.

This spot is so gross with the flat pay-out and bounty you literally can't play a hand with SB without the nuts.

I don't like the jam with 23BBs. I would raise 2.5BBs. If SB 3 bets, I would fold. If SB folds and BB shoves, I would call,

What site is this BTW? Seems like a hell of a pay out for just a $55 buy in.
