BTN: 1,895
SB: 3,840
Hero (BB): 3,030
UTG: 4,735

Pre-Flop: (600) 9 9 dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, BTN raises to 1,895 and is All-In, SB raises to 3,840 and is All-In, Hero calls 2,630 and is All-In

I think this is basically a SNG Wiz question, but my trial ran out. Button is probably pushing decently if unimaginatively wide, in the realm of 25-30%. I think 99 is a pretty clear call here, since I have to come in third to bust, and if I come in second to button I still have a decent stack and SB is crippled. But how can I determine what my total calling range should be here? Do I need to be ahead of both players' ranges, or just button's?

At work, but looks like a call to me. Unlikely you are behind both of them, so bubbling isn't likely, plus if you win you knock out BTN and cripple SB and should have a nice chiplead going into HU. I think you just have to be ahead of BTN's range here.

"Comfortable" and passive play is to just fold and hope SB knocks out the shorty, but then you are playing for third anyway and might as well call, as calling also virtually ensures you third and could possibly get you much higher.

EDIT: nevermind, i'm wrong. it's an easy call if button's opening range is 20% and SB's calling range is 18%, and a marginal call if SB's range is 10%.
