I'd appreciate it if some people ITT could confirm or deny if me shoving 88 UTG+1 with 18 bb 6 handed was a legitimate move. This is the Nightowl Freezout that runs on Merge 275 players to start 18 of us left. 30 get paid.

TY, I thought so too. 88 is a pretty super hand. Straight up UL. Would shoving any pair there be correct?

optimal shove is 99+ but 88+ is definitely fine imo I wouldn't shove lower than 77.

Thank you. I agree here, tiny pairs would be very at risk against any two suited or unsuited paints or better pairs. I'm still shoving this in future.
