Resolving to make better decisions across the board...life, diet, poker, work etc

2012 was a pretty good year for me, had its ups and downs, and was a roller-coaster of a year for me on many fronts. Really happy with how everything turned out though, and while things could have gone better, and I could have handled myself better, I definitely feel as though i've made a lot of progress as a person and a player and am looking forward to what 2013 has in store for me.

2013 Goals:

[ ]Work-out 2 hours a week, try to be active every day.

[ ]Go on a real vacation with my BF.

[ ]Focus on low variance grinding. (No shot taking in big series >.<)

[ ]10k+ MTT's on the year.

[ ]Keep bettering myself mindset wise and life-wise.

[ ]No blow-ups, no drama, no BS. Just poker.

I realize I have rubbed some of you in a poor manner for various things I have said and the way I have behaved. I made a complete ass of myself a couple of times and it was out of line. If I have come off in such a manner to you, or have made myself seem as though I am an ignorant person, I sincerely apologize.

While this apology may not change your view of me as a person or a player, no matter your feelings about me, I hope all of you all the best and hope you have very successful and fulfilling 2013!

-Try to have a balanced life/poker schedule eg four days grinding/three days off
-But get organised and focused to play a full SCOOP and WCOOP schedule
-Don't go to WSOP in Vegas
-Only play live tounaments in places I want to go and visit or new places I've never been before (eg Croatia, Ukraine, Romania, Greece, Latvia, Finland)
-Win a live tournament. Any live tournament. (will take a 34 runner 50 freezeout)
-Maintain Supernova
-Actually learn German properly
-Steal a fork from the casino in Potsdamer Platz Berlin #couscousgate

didn't set myself any goals yet, most would be outside of poker anyways so we'll see how the year starts and decide what I want it to be when it ends

my bonus for 2012 was to win 100k . culdnt make it. Last time, after 363 days pain, did some score so i m not totaly but not unhappy also for 2012.

For 2013 still same goal. Need 100k and wanna win some live events cyprus, will try next week hope i wont wait it until end of year.

didn't make 2012 goals, but it was pretty meh overall.

2013:
-Be smarter with money
-Graduate in December. Will be a semester early, I have a good sweat at it tho.
-Get a decent internship or job this summer. Trying to get internship with pokernews which would kind of suck (unpaid) but would be good for me long-term. Plus I'd be in Vegas and could play some poker and meet people.
-Cut out soda. More realistic goal is going from ~one can a day to one a week or less.
-Win a liveament. I prob won't be playing too many live mtts but it would be sweet. I've had a few close calls deep but things haven't gone my way.

Dont think I made any goals for last year. For this year:

- Play my A+ game at least 4 out of every 5 sessions
- Start making money from something other than poker
- End 2013 in the best shape of my life
- Have a monster year poker-wise

I feel like all of these goals are very attainable, except maybe the last one because lol poker

goals for 2013

play more, stake less
continue to infiltrate good players' aim buddy lists to annoy them with, most likely, basic questions and easy spots..

goals for 2013:

play atleast 25k mtts
make atleast 150k from poker
maintain sn on stars and stars.fr
visit atleast 1 class to broaden my horizon or learn maybe a new language (lol university)
atleast 8 liveprotrips
FT a real major and top my biggest score (26.5k atm)
do less drugs (but they are so much fun!)

Life related:
Do some kind of fitness workout or go to the gym at least once a week.
Eat more fruit and vegetables (plus take my vitamins).
Start to learn to drive and pass my theory.
Get a placement for my year in industry for my university course.
Do well in my second year of university.
Keep more in touch with friends that are not at university.

Poker related:
Read and study more.
Play more MTTs which will hopefully lead onto winning more $$$.

Reasonable goals that I hope to achieve before this is year is out.

My 2012 goals were kind of a mess and I failed most of them, so **** that.

Could go into a little detail on my goals for this year but I have a PG&C thread for that - cliffs are to keep improving, play 18k MTTs in the year, stay mentally and physically healthy, and not let poker control my life.

Want to wish everyone else in MTTc the best of luck in achieving their goals for the year, some great people around here and I hope this year's successes go to the people who deserve them.
