~$90 NL Tourney with rebuys. Should be LOW but really is MID given fields are very tough at Luka Rebuy Stars Casino on their Tuesday 6pm Tournies (there are no daytime tournies in Prague)

Folds to me in the SB. I have 36,000 chips BB has 25,000 and it is 500/1000 (1000) blinds.

I have AJo and decide I am going to limp jam if he raises. BB is an aggressive player and I expect a raise about 75% of the time after I limp. I think BB will fold 22-55 and call with 66+. Non pair hands BB will call with AT+/KQ/most suited broadways/some AXs

I don't like playing AJ OOP in the SB vs BB when I raise to about 4x. I really don't like it when I raise to 2.1x. My alternative which I sometimes do is just limp and call a raise. But again I don't like it OOP post flop.

I limp, BB raises to 4x and I jam. All thoughts welcome.

I don't really like limping bvb - doubt he raises 75% of hands. As played if you were deeper I'd say just call the raise but since he has 25 bbs jamming looks fine. There's a fair amount of dead money already in the middle - the negative to jamming is you fold out a lot of hands you dominate. Calling the raise is an option too but postflop can be tricky - if effective stacks were 35 bb for example I would just call the raise.

I think this spot is pretty close for me. I think I prefer to raise to 3BB and then deciding what to do based on the villain and their tendencies, etc. I think, if you are going to limp/jam, this player should be very aggressive. If they have been raising every time you limp, then yes, I like it.

It was a very aggressive player but we hadn't been SB vs BB before. Which I think may be a determining factor for me moving forward (so thanks for that).

He was very aggressive, raising more than what I would say was normal pre-flop. So I wasn't particularly mad at myself when he showed up with JJ...

I think in the future if I find myself in a similar situation I will likely limp to see if villain raises for future reference. I have actually started limping a lot more from the SB with strongish hands like PP's < TT and A2-AT. Even hands like 2 Broadways without an A.

Limp jam
Open Jam
Raise to 3bb

All justifiable with no clear winner.
