PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP1 (t1445)
MP2 (t3050)
MP3 (t1410)
CO (t1150)
Hero (t1585)
SB (t1400)
BB (t560)
UTG (t1500)
UTG+1 (t1400)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, J.
6 folds, Hero raises to t70, SB calls t60, BB calls t50.

Flop: (t210) A, 8, Q (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets t150, SB raises to t300, BB folds, Hero ???

Well it seems unlikely he has AK, AA or QQ, those should have 3-bet. Probably behind against this player's range, but given this person minraised (= more likely a donk) could lots of Ace-rags be doing this as well? Also pot odds with a minbet.

Then if I call?

Turn: (t810) T (2 players)
SB bets t480 Hero ???

I pick up a gutshot and AT improves. I'm not sure this bet tells me much, if he's a donk minraising Ace rage on the flop he's probably not going to stop betting.

I like PF.
On the flop, I don't know what to do but, as played, I'm folding the turn because if you call you will be commited and his turn bet doesn't look like a draw or A9, A7 (just my opinion ...).

Raising pf is the right decision. I think you have to bet on the flop, but I would have lowered the amount to 100. It opens up the range of hands Villain will put you on, including a possible flush draw. As is, he will reduce the chance of it because the amount looks like you're discouraging someone from playing a flush draw.

The mini-c/r worries me if I don't have a read on the player. If he has two pair, he can be sweetening the pot and drawing you in, especially if he isn't worried about a spade because of your bet. You have to call, though I wouldn't be happy about it.

On the turn, the gloves came off and he is now telling you he can beat top pair. With AJ, you're only beating A9 and below (except for A8) It isn't likely he called a raise with Ax pf. Fold.

Naturally, we won't open limp the button.
I think we can fold turn too, the ******s (the players who might value bet worse here, not saying they know what a value bet is, but still) usually bet smaller.

depends on your opponent and how wide his calling range is. Against a donk im 3 betting all in. Against a good player I'm calling flop and probably folding turn.
