I elected to flat pre flop not many stats on villain but didnt want to 3bet/jam.
What do you guys think do we fast play this on the flop or just call down? board is pretty wet so this makes me inclined to fast play the hand here as lots of run outs will get ugly and we likely have the best hand here.

What turns are you worried about tho? You have the Ac so you block the NFD and also AK type hands hitting a straight.

Im raising for value. I would be more worried about a turn that kills our action, not a turn that beats us. Also on a board this wet we want more than QTs and 55 to raise for value.

I am generally 3bet/stacking off pre with AQ here, but will mix in a flat vs a tighter open.

i certainly see villain having KJs and non,89s,J9s not to mention club draws.

Ofcourse if we fast play and run into qq-aa and tt its shitty but also if we flat and the card comes out to complete a straight or flush it kills like action when were ahead of KQ,QJ,JJ, AT and would get some value.

Just trying to think about whether or not playing for stacks makes sense here. i think on a dryer board i dont mind calling down and letting villain barrel weaker hands/air

but i tend to agree with ledn that raising for value here makes sense and with a stack to pot ratio about 3-4 were totally okay getting it in here.

Having the backdoor nut FD makes me inclined to flat here and see what happens. Its good to have some nutted hands in your flatting range afterall.

I’m confused. Why would a 3 bet necessarily be a shove here? You have a 28 bb stack; a 3 bet to 8BB or so would not pot commit you. Villain either shoves, flats or folds in response. If he folds, great. Shove — he narrows his range considerably; you’re likely flipping against the bottom of his range and dominated by the top. You can probably fold. Flat puts you in the same position you were in, just with you as PF aggressor and a smaller SPR; the hand plays itself — easy shove otf.

8bb as a 3bet is too much, looks pretty strong and appears as if you are not folding often, whether true or not.

3b/fold would be awful unless villain is very tight in which case we would mix some flats in pre against that player type

Flop is not an easy shove. I agree you should raise for value but jamming flop is excessive.
