couple of questions in this hand. i opened the hand before, and everyone folded. it's not necessarily that important, but i feel it should be mentioned. i'm fairly new to the table, but no big pots have been played so far.

first, my initial raise is ok, or just fold pre? the table hasn't been aggro preflop at all, which speaks in favor of me opening, but maybe 44 is too weak? once the small squeeze comes in, this has to be pretty strong right? anyone jamming over the squeeze?

Think I probably fold here to be honest, effective stacks are really awkward for playing anything other than strong hands from UTG. You're going to get 3bet a lot by guys with 20-30bb stacks, where you can't flatcall and their ranges crush you, just like here.

Never shoving over the squeeze unless both villains are super lagtards, and even then it seems spewy as hell. We have the rest of the table covered, just fold pre and wait for a chance to exert pressure on them rather than the other way round IMO.

Most people would advocate folding preflop, but if the table is that tight then I guess an UTG steal with your stack isn't toooo bad.
As played snap fold to the 3b w/out reads he just put in over a quarter of his stack

I don't mind the open, and would recommend 2x-2.2x because as the big stack at the table you should be opening frequently, and when they resteal on you, and you have to fold you save chips.

Fold to the 3bet because stacks aren't deep enough to allow you to setmine. If he had ~35bb then it would be close, but I'd rather be in position and in a btn vs blind situation.

Open is fine, snapfold to the 3-bet.

i wouldn't setmine at all. also, what should our range for continuing be? i'm thinking he's gonna be pretty strong to squeeze small w his stacksize?
