Hey guys, just wanted some feedback on this play. I jammed here with 24BBs to isolate after a 4BB stack shoved and he had a bounty of $27.50. Three players are left to act. My main concern was with a 46BB big stack in the big blind.

The main concern here is ICM, because this was at the final table with 8 players left. My stack here is 5th of 8 remaining. It would suck to go out 7th or 8th, when I'm holding a 5th place stack and the 6th and 6th place stacks have 10 and 12BBs each. I shoved here because I was only worried about the one player who could bust me.

I'm just wondering if this shove is a standard play or is it too risky? Is calling the 4BB all in a consideration? I think preserving my stack at this stage is a priority, but folding seems too tight. For ICM considerations, here are the remaining payouts.

Whether to call or shove will depend on the size of your own bounty and the tendencies of the players behind. If you call here and your bounty is large the covering player can squeeze all-in quite wide to isolate the shorter stack and still have enough equity if you overcall. You may even need to call and call off vs the squeeze with a hand this strong and the top-heavy nature of PKO, again assuming your bounty is large enough to incentivise a wide isolate. I think shove will always show a profit but to determine whether call-decide can show a higher profit will take some complicated math.

Looks fine to me. My inclination is that between the bounties and ICM you'd rather jam here than let the big stack come over you with anything with decent equity and put you in a spot where you either have to fold or you're still like 40% to bust.

The relevant information on the bounty is how many starting bounties it is vs. how many starting stacks the pusher has. But also considering AJo should be good to get in against a 4BB stack's shoving range I don't think it matters too much.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Ya one thing I haven't been considering, which you guys mentioned, is how big my bounty is when shoving. I have to be more aware of how incentivized other players are to try and bust me. I just played a hand recently where I had one of the larger bounties on me, and I did a reshove against a big stack, when trying to isolate a small stack. Big stack then calls off and busts me for my bounty.
