I just registered to the tourney and one of the first hands I got was AK. I raise UTG and behind me starts the action. A friend told me he wouldn't laydown AK in that lowstake tourneys preflop. Is a call justified or insane? At that time I didn't have any reads.

Folding AK in SSMTT is insane. Call and be happy about it.

I'm always happy to get my money in pre with AK vs. a random in <20$ BI tournaments
