Hand 1
We are trucking a long in the tournament. Now we have reached the point where a lot of short stacks are shoving. Some people are shoving very wide and often.

Villain 1, he is there to gamble. Probably 55 - 60 years old, He has been loose preflop and a little splashy post flop. He built his stack to 110K (40K starting) and now is down to 31K. Middle aged, recreational player that is there to gamble. He came with a bunch of friends. He has shoved probably 5 times in the past 40 minutes.

Villain 2, 35 years old, newer to the table. Not much info, but he has seen Villain 1 shoving a lot.

Blinds 1.2K/2.4K w 2.4KBB ante
Villain 1 31K
Villain 2 100K
Hero 55K

Preflop: Hero has 88 in BB, we are 7 handed
1 fold, Villain 1 shoves in MP, 1 fold, CO reshoves, btn and sb fold, Hero?
What is the minimum you are calling here?

Hand 2
Villain 1, he has been playing pretty tight overall, but might have started to open up with the larger blinds and dwindling stack. He hasn't been open shoved despite having a shoving stack.
Villain 2, Young Asian player, he has made a few moves and is newer to the table. We have seen him limp UTG with AKs and call a shove from the BB. We have also seen him shove A4o over a CO open for ~20BB.

Villain 1 55K
Villain 2 110K
Hero 75K

Preflop: Hero has XX in sb
1 fold, Villain 1 raises to 6k, 4 folds, Hero calls, Villain 2 shoves in BB, Villain 1 folds, Hero?

What is the minimum you are calling in this spot? Obviously we aren't going to have a super strong range here because we just flatted. But there is now 21K already in the pot. I kept thinking of the villain making a move with something marginal because we have seen Villain 1 open a bit more than usual during this level.

Most hands I would call with here I would have already jammed. So I guess 22-88? I'm folding QJs/KJs/KQ and worse hands.

In theory I may have called with AJs because Villain 1 is tightish but once he folds its an auto call against Villain 2. ATs though is likely a fold here though if you think Villain 2 is wide it can be a call.

My flatting range is probably any pair (probably bigger than 55), KJ, AT, and A2s-A5s, I might call any pair or any suited A if I feel that the villain will play straight forward and I feel that i can push him off a hand.

In this spot I had KQo. I just felt that Villain 2 is probably not shoving with AA/KK/QQ. That it was probably just a random A, medium PP 77/88, etc. or something like QJ.
