I've never heard of a legitimate poker site hiring out a "third party" to handle their deposits. That's exactly what WSOP.com has done here in Nevada with a company called "Certegy.com". Recently there were some deposit issues to my poker account. We're not talking big $$$ here. My deposit was for $40 and was accepted into my poker account. I'm not sure why but the deposit declined by my bank although the $$$ was in my account and then some. Trusting that WSOP.com was a legit poker site here in Nevada I had given them my account and routing #'s. By the time the dust had settled I was charged over $300 in overdraft charges (for a $40 deposit). I contacted my bank and they said that since I had supplied my account and routing #'s I would need to contact WSOP.com.. When I did that I was referred to "Certegy.com" (a company I had never heard of). Certegy was about as helpful as a three legged chair. They suggested I cancel my bank account (which I have had for 10 years) and open a new one. 'Some help huh?
When I informed WSOP.com of my intention of filing a small claims case against them here in Reno guess what? They terminated my account even though I had been playing on the site since it's inception. Maybe it's a blessing. At least now I know who I was dealing with and hopefully so do you.
Play at WSOP.com at your own risk if you live here in Nevada or when you visit. I have played at offshore sites for many years and NEVER been treated like this!

Wrong forum. WPT has abandoned this "WPT.com Sponsored Support Forum" for years.
