Casino Cannes Croisette is rolling out the Red Carpet for the €1,200 PMU.fr WPTN Cannes Main Event. Players and jetsetters gearing up for a week of fun from May 28-31
The international jet set gathers in Cannes every year in May for the Film Festival. One week after this glamorous high society event, for the fourth time La Croisette Casino will roll out the red carpet for the PMU.fr WPT National Cannes expecting around 400 entries.
The May Poker Festival will kick off on the 28th with Day 1A of the €1,200 PMU.fr WPT National Cannes Main Event. Its second highlight will feature the 2 Day WPTN High Roller Event with a buy-in of €2,200 from 30th to 31st of May. Another popular highlight on the tournament schedule is the PMU Carte Blanche – a €400 buy in 8 Max NLH side event exclusively designed by PMU Team pros.
Last year, Laurent Polito outlasted a field of 391 entries to win the WPTN Cannes Main Event at La Croisette Casino earning €86,000 and his second WPT National title – a few months before he’d win his third WPT National title in Paris in December 2014. This very popular stop has a history of crowning great champions with Bruno Lopes aka Kool Shen the famous rap singer from the legendary group NTM and WPT Champions Club member Guillaume Darcourt.
A promising sunny weather forecast will turn the PMU.fr WPTN Cannes into a unique holiday-feeling poker experience. Off of the felt, PMU and WPT will throw the renowned VIP Players Party at les Marches NightClub on Saturday 30th. Located in the heart of the Cote d’Azur, players can enjoy luxury shopping walking down the Boulevard de la Croisette, a palm-lined fashionable street while also indulging themselves with mouth-watering seafood dishes at one of the dozens of fine dining and contemporary restaurants.
