This festival looks fantastic.........The £125 is the only one i will do unless cashing but is it true that if you decide to do another day 1 due to a short stack you lose your 1st day 1 stack. So you cant do 3 day ones and pick which stack goes to day 2 if any at all?

@Onlythenuzt - The Warm Up event will use same rules as the WPT500 - Players that have played Day 1A-G have the option to choose either their Day 1A,1B,1C,1D,1E,1F,1G stack to bring to Day 2

@Nationstation - DTD can run SnG's - HR is a Re-entry event

Thanks

WPT_Lee, are you able to find out which Nottingham hotel(s) will have shuttles to and from DTD Club?

Planning to arrive from Canada to Gatwick Airport around November 10. Anybody else arriving at Gatwick, and willing to travel together to Nottingham?

In a festival spread over 18 days, you really couldn't fit in a PLO or other non-holdem event? Or any sort of variant structure? That probably would have tipped me into attending.

The guarantees are very impressive but you should really be looking at your main competitor's successful model.

Questions for Lee:

1) Is there free wifi in the Dusk Till Dawn tournament area?

2) Are there any restrictions on using electronic devices at the poker table such as iPad/iPod and Monster DNA headphones?

3) The first WPT500 at Aria had two pay levels already for each Day 1, i.e., you can make the money all six Day 1s. For this WPT500 UK, do you make the money if you make it to Day 2? When and where will the payout structure be available?

4) Online qualifiers who had won multiple entries for WPT500 Aria and made Day 2 had the option of being able to sell their remaining unneeded entries. Can we have this option too for WPT500 UK, i.e., if I have a big stack with my first entry, do I go to the Tournament Director to transfer/sell my remaining entries?

5) The prize pool for the WPT500 UK includes fifty £3,000 Main Event entries. Since most online qualifiers including myself will be unable to stay until November 23 to play, can we have the option to get £3,000 cash or at least be allowed to sell any ME entry won?

6) Who will be the Tournament Director for WPT500 UK?

7) What are the limits, buy-ins and rake structure for the cash games?

Hi lee,

I've never played in live events like this before, so i dont know what to expect and hoping someone could enlighten me. (i'm planning to play the £125 warm up)

I've only ever played small low buy in tourneys (50 - 60 runners, £20 - £50 buyin) so am i to expect the field will be much more fierce at a WPT event? Any do's or dont's for big events like these? Will it be filmed? Will i play some of the 'poker pros' ive watched on youtube?

I think there are 7 day 1s, so im assuming there will be a lot of players left on day 2. Will there be a day 3 for the £125 warm up? Or just play until we have a winner?

There are 100 seats also in the prizepool for the WPT500, so those seats go to the final 100 players on day 2/3? (stupid question but want to be sure)

Anyone familiar with Dusk till dawn and know of hotels in walking distance or with shuttle?

thanks

It's too bad that nobody seems available in this sponsored section to answer any of our questions. :-( Did you end up playing, and can you share any answers you found yourself as they will also apply to the remaining events? I'll be flying to unfamiliar UK tomorrow afternoon.

Questions for Lee:

1) Is there free wifi in the Dusk Till Dawn tournament area?
Yes

2) Are there any restrictions on using electronic devices at the poker table such as iPad/iPod and Monster DNA headphones? You can use ipad/ipod music/video at the table as long as they don't slow down play.

3) The first WPT500 at Aria had two pay levels already for each Day 1, i.e., you can make the money all six Day 1s. For this WPT500 UK, do you make the money if you make it to Day 2? When and where will the payout structure be available? No - 14 levels will be played each Day 1, resulting in approx 23% of the field making Day 2. Approx. 12.5% of the field will be paid. The payout structure will be displayed at DTD.

If a player reaches Day 2 of the event and still has unused buy-ins, (s)he will have the option to either: (i) exchange them for tournament dollars for use only on the online poker site where they qualified or (ii) use them to enter subsequent day 1s, with the largest remaining chip stack taken forward to Day 2.

5) The prize pool for the WPT500 UK includes fifty £3,000 Main Event entries. Since most online qualifiers including myself will be unable to stay until November 23 to play, can we have the option to get £3,000 cash or at least be allowed to sell any ME entry won? Dusk Till Dawn will deal with partypoker qualifiers from overseas on a case by case basis.

6) Who will be the Tournament Director for WPT500 UK? WPT Tournament Director - Christian Scalzi

7) What are the limits, buy-ins and rake structure for the cash games? Full Cash Game infor below:

Please let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks
