Geez I remember way back in 2004 the Party Poker software was terrific. What happened from then until now? Maybe hire whoever they were back? I keep seaching for a reason to come to NJ and play real online poker for the first time in 3+ years but reading this thread it sounds like we're still a long ways from "the good old days". sigh

They are not extraordinary. Since msot of them are likely to cancel maybe what they need is an "underwhelming" category

Based upon DGE requirements they must have everything they put out tested and approved. They cannot deploy whatever they want. And anybody who works with software knows there is a trade-off between compatibility and stability. They may have pushed out a code-base that is more compatible with more OS versions but as such does not take advantage of all the improvements / libraries from newer versions.

In any case, they are very close to solving these software problems. Please see the "Crash Solutions Thread" for information on how to provide them with the files they need to diagnose and resolve these problems for good.

For deposit options, you advised us to call support. Support said that US Bank, Nordstrom FSB, and TD Bank cards are the most successful for processing deposits. However, I was hoping for more information about which gift cards are usable for deposits. Some of the stores in my area sell US Bank mastercard gift cards. Do these work for deposits?

I just won a "casino cash bonus of $100" in the daily party poker scratch off promotion. I don't play casino games, only poker. The $100 was added to my poker balance. So I guess I can use this $100 as part of my poker balance ? Are there any restrictions to this $100, or can I use it to buy into mtts, even though it said casino cash bonus when I won it. if u try it wont let you use that for poker. unless you were lucky enough to get a glitch in which it will somehow. you'll see when u go to enter a poker tourney in this case that amount wond be reflected in your available bankroll when u go to register

Yea it appears that it's added to my balance on the main screen, and says it's available, yet when I enter a tourney from my bankroll, the amount is $100 less than what my account balance says on the main screen. So it looks like I have $100 more than I actually have in my account. Lol party poker

Grunching - this is how those restricted bonuses used to work, but I thought they had changed it recently.

Anyway, here's how I dealt with it: I would go to the bonus section and click opt out to see how many bonus dollars I actually had (if I was clearing / losing it over multiple sessions) so when I took money into the casino I was only taking these bonus dollars.

You can expand the bonus to see how much you have left to clear it, and it should go away when you either clear it or lose it all. I had these weird mini echo bonuses when I used to get free slots and casino money all the time on the daily scratchers, it was like it was isolating the money value points you earned when clearing the bonus and making that a bonus or something weird. (LOL Party indeed).

Brag - clearing a $50 casino bonus that I needed like $6750 in action to clear (LOL) I took a wild $1/line spin at the slot machine I was playing when I got bored and hit for something like $6700. Dropped about 1500 BJ clearing the ridiculous amount, but it was a sweet $5k payday for one of the most unrealistic bonuses I have ever seen

WTF is up with geolocation lately? Nothing has changed for me, and suddenly I am having issues all the time. I went over a year with no problems, but all of a sudden it is flaking out.

Also, is there a way to force it to recheck without logging out and back in?

Most often the problem is when I first log in, and it goes away if I relog a few times. It would be great if I didn't have to log out to have it try to verify me (and there may be a way, I just don't know it). I know on UP you could force it to retry while still in the client. (Obligatory RIP UP )

Also, there is no way to force it to re-locate without logging back in. Sorry, we are all suffering with the same thing.

Finally able to download and deposit after FIOS upgrade seemed to eliminate geolocation issues I had been having since 2013.

I'm wondering why I even bothered, looks more like a start-up low budget ghost-town compared to the top tier PartyPoker of old.

Just logged in to find nobody playing, even though software claiming 66 players @ 170 tables.

Am I missing something?
