Sunday bummer Sunday bummer

I'm assuming my issue has been discussed before...

I spent all day Sunday trying to qualify for the 50k & I was finally successful by 6:15pm.

The tourney started / starts at 5 pm.

Unbeknownst to me, if you qualify , they automatically register you for the current tourney, which was already nearing level 5.

I thought the ticket was mine to use at my disposal. I was unaware I was forced to play right away. If I had known that, I wouldn't have spent all day trying to qualify, for I had an important arrangement outside my poker world believe it or not after 6pm.

My day was ruined after I saw they auto registered me for the ongoing 50k, for I was unable to play & it cost me $50 & 5 hours trying to earn the ticket.

So sorry this happened to you Vercetti.

This is something I have discussed before, but it's probably buried somewhere. I thought of creating a separate thread for it but I guess now you have done that.

The policy of auto-registering people for tournaments when they win a ticket is wrong. It puts players at a significant disadvantage if they don't like to late register. It vastly decreases your odds of cashing from that ticket. And for newer players unfamiliar with these policies, it guarantees a portion of these tickets will expire worthless.

Pretty sure this is nothing more than a money grab. Winning a ticket is supposed to be a good thing. The first time I won the ticket I didn't even know I was going to be auto-registered, and was basically blinded out of the tournament completely.

But as long as Party makes sure you get as little as possible from those tickets, they clearly think we will keep depositing and buying-in more. They fail to realize some players simply stop playing these games as a result of this policy.
